Unakite gets its name from the Unaka Mountains of Tennessee and Western North Carolina, USA where it was first discovered. Can also be found in South Africa. Unakite is composed of altered granite with pink feldspar, clear quartz and green epidote. 

• Absorbs negative energy and transmutes it into positive energy. 
• Helps with decision-making.
• Unakite is thought to support recovery from major illness.
